2011 Update:

Because a Facebook presence is increasing key to connecting with current and potential customers, I’ve set up a new blog in 2011 called Using Facebook for Business Marketing.

Facebook often changes its features, and new applications are created by third parties to facilitate your efforts to connect with and engage customers.  On this blog, I aim to create a resource — giving advice, pointing you to new links, and describing new functionality.  Please stop by and contribute your experience with Facebook marketing and promotions.

Over the weekend, I refined my Facebook marketing and promotion tags in Delicious and want to show off my new organization. For those not familiar with social bookmarketing, I can give subject tags to websites, articles and blog posts as I surf around the web.  If you click my tag links below, you’ll see everything I have found on that topic, with my most recent discovery (not necessarily the most recent date) first.

In other words, you can draft behind me on subjects I follow, let me do the searching, reading and cataloging.  You just click my tag for a list of my links to date.

I’ve got lots of tags, as you can see in the graphic above.  Today, I want to highlight tags on Facebook marketing and promotion:

Facebook For Business:  General Marketing and Promotion

Facebook Ads
Facebook Applications

Facebook-only Blogs
Facebook Groups

Facebook Pages

Facebook Inc (About the Company and Its Revenue Model)

Popular Books about Facebook for Business on Amazon

Yes, yes, I know that I can add notes for you on each item that I’ve bookmarked, summarizing its contents or even quoting a key passage.  I’m just not that ambitious yet.

I’ve also created a Delicious “bundle” for my Facebook marketing tags — a group of tags that has an RSS feed.   You can see the feed from this bundle on the right hand side of this blog.  You can subscribe to this Facebook Marketing and Promotion RSS feed here.

Want to learn more about how Delicious works?  Click here.

And please add me to your Delicious network.  Just log into your Delicious account, click this link to see my Citylady403 account, and then in the upper right, click “Add a User to Network.”  You’ll be able to follow what I’m bookmarking with a click of a button.

Did I miss a good Facebook marketing link?  Please leave it in a comment.
